The Crested Butte Lodge & Hostel is a perfect alternative to a stuffy hotel room. After you have enjoyed a great day in the Colorado Rockies, skiing or mountain biking, you don't have to lock yourself in a room alone for the rest of the night! Meet great people, share stories and a meal, maybe hit the town that evening with new found friends or just relax with a book by the fire… Our great room boasts a fireplace, library, guitars, games, and a TV/VCR. The kitchen facilities are modern and completely stocked with all the amenities needed to make your own meals (you supply the food). This is a great savings for budget conscious travelers. We also offer a catering service for larger groups, providing delicious meals that free up precious time and money! We have Ski and Bike storage available on premise, as well as a full service Laundry, a fax and copy service, and Public Showers. High Speed and Wireless internet services are also now available! A small retail counter is provided for our guest's convenience where you can purchase the items you may have forgotten, get a snack, or a homemade baked good.

At the Crested Butte Lodge and Hostel, Guest Safety and Security are always a priority with us. All of our rooms and guest bathrooms are locked by a programmable key card system, similar to what you see in major hotels. Each person has an individual locking storage drawer under the bunk, you can bring your own lock or we can provide you with one. The front doors are locked each evening so that only registered guests can enter the building after the front desk is closed. Guest Parking is provided free on site.

The Crested Butte Lodge & Hostel can accommodate 49 people in 3 - private two-person rooms, 2 - private four-person rooms, 1 - five-person family room, 1 - six-person family room, 3 - four-person Bunk rooms, and 2 - six-person Bunk rooms. The Apartment's can accommodate 6 people each for a total of 61 people in the facility. One room is handicap accessible with an accessible bath.

Bunk style accommodations
All Bunk rooms are equipped with sturdy, hand-built bunk beds, individual locking storage drawers, a desk, and at least one large window with a great view. Most of our Bunk rooms sleep four people, but we also have 2 - six-person rooms. Pillows, sheets, a towel, and blankets are provided. Guests can bring their own sleeping bags or linens if they prefer. The clean, spacious, and well-lit bathrooms are large, tiled facilities separated by gender, similar to what you would find in a high-class athletic club. They are complete with stainless steel stall dividers and decorative finishes and each has five toilets, five shower stalls, five sinks.

Private Rooms and Family Room
We have 3 - two-person and 2 - four-person private rooms. One two-person private room is on the first floor, is fully handicap accessible, and offers a queen-sized bed and private bath.  All rooms are non-smoking. The other four private rooms are located on the 2nd floor and use the shared bathrooms. The 2 - four-person private room's have one queen bed, one twin bunkbed and sleep up to 4 people. The five-person family room has one queen bed, one twin bunkbed, a twin bed and sleeps up to 5 people. The six-person family room has one queen bed, two twin bunkbeds and sleeps up to 6 people. These rooms share the main bathroom facilities and are provided with linens and towels, a desk, and all have windows.
